The arrival at Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport, Milwaukee, Wisconsin will be open press. The day before the first anniversary of the Inflation Reduction Act, the President will deliver remarks on how Bidenomics is Investing in America to grow the economy from the middle out and the bottom up, not the top down. Please indicate which event you are RSVPing to on the RSVP form. Media Entrance: From Pennsylvania Avenue, turn onto E Grange Avenue and arrive at the main gate security checkpoint. Your name will be on the access list. E Grange Avenue continues as the road curves. From the curve of the road past the checkpoint, travel 0.16 miles to Building 306. Parking is available parallel to all the buildings along the street. For pre-set, enter Building 306 and follow the signs to check in with White House staff to drop your equipment off. Additional logistics for equipment checks and re-entry will be provided in the confirmation email. Media Parking: Press can park in the main lot in front of Building 306 on E Grange Ave (4256'31.9"N 8753'09.4"W). See green highlighted area on map below. Security: The United States Secret Service (USSS) will be controlling access to the media parking lot and SAT truck parking area. Please note you should expect airport-like security. All large gear, including cameras and tripods, must be pre-set. NO late arrivals will be accommodated. NOTE: Press covering the airport are also able to cover remarks at the site. Crews are required to pre-set two separate sets of equipment one at each location if you plan to cover both. There is re-entry access to this site. The latest time to access the tarmac for arrival and departure is listed above. Crews who also attend remarks are welcome to hold in the remarks press area in between arrival and departure if they do not want to depart in between. NOTE: This is an outdoor event so please plan accordingly in the event of inclement weather. If there is poor weather during pre-set, crews will drop equipment in a covered trailer. All gear can remain in the trailer in between arrival and departure. Gear from the tarmac cannot move from the tarmac to the remarks space in between events. A volunteer will be at the checkpoint to direct you to the designated parking spots. Media Parking (Remarks): After sweeps, park in Yount (General) Parking Lot. Please enter via the north entrance on Selig Drive. Once parked, walk towards the main check-in door located near W. Milwaukee Rd & W Canal St. This is a 5-minute walk. See map below. No SAT trucks will be accommodated after 7:45 AM CT. NOTE: All networks planning for live shot positions inside the remarks space must pre-set all heavy gear, video cameras, and SAT trucks. This space will not be available during USSS sweeps. Crews are unable to have hits in remarks space during the President's remarks. After the President concludes remarks, crews inside the remarks space will have one hour of access before needing to depart. Security: The United States Secret Service (USSS) will be controlling access to the guest/media parking lot area. Please note you should expect airport-like security. All large gear, including cameras and tripods must pre-set. NO late arrivals will be accommodated. NOTE: USSS car sweeps will be required.
